Forward / Midfielder · Downingtown West High School (PA) · WC Eagles Field Hockey Club · formerly BMHV, the Netherlands
Aimée started playing field hockey at age six, at BMHV (Baarnse Mixed Hockey Vereniging) in the Netherlands. She played there for ten years and worked her way up to the sub-top division for Girls U16, the second-highest regional competitive level for her age group in the Dutch youth club system, a system known worldwide for producing technical, tactically sharp players.
Top scorer for the BMHV first team, and head coach of the club's U12 team for three seasons in a row.BMHV, Baarn, Netherlands
In the summer of 2026, Aimée's family moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania. She now plays for Downingtown West High School and joins WC Eagles Field Hockey Club, one of the top-ranked club programs in the country, this fall. She is comfortable at both forward and midfield, and she is used to adjusting fast, having done it more than once already in her hockey career.
College coaches evaluate recruits against a fairly consistent set of qualities. Here is how Aimée's background maps onto them, and where the evidence is still coming.
In the 14 weeks before the move to the US, Aimée trained one-on-one with Erik Stigter, a former professional player, working specifically on the points below.

Two people who know Aimée's game well, and are available to speak with college coaches directly.
Aimée holds a HAVO diploma from the Netherlands, a college-preparatory secondary track that includes coursework comparable to advanced high school and early college-level classes in the US. Her family is completing the foreign credential evaluation needed for US colleges to recognize her Dutch transcript.
At Downingtown West, Aimée is taking a course load made up mostly of AP (Advanced Placement) classes, and is on track to start earning dual college credit.
Game and skills footage from the WC Eagles and Downingtown West fall 2026 season is being filmed now. A highlight reel and full game film will be linked here once ready.
Once match footage is ready, Jop Beugers, a former assistant coach at Lafayette College field hockey (NCAA Division I), will review it and give an independent assessment, the same way a college coach evaluates tape from a player he has not seen before. That review will be added here.
